Reliance Infrastructure second quarter results: Anil Ambani-led infrastructure giant posts net profit of ₹4,082.5 crore on low cost

Reliance Infrastructure Q2 Results: Reliance Infrastructure Ltd (RInfra) on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of 4,082.53 crore in the July-September quarter of 2024-25 in lower expenditure. It had clocked Net loss of Rs 294.04 crore during the July-September period of the previous fiscal 2023-2024, the company said in a regulatory filing.

Exceptional profits from 3,575.27 crore, including profit on settlement of debts and income from 80.97 crore due to arbitration claims received boosted profits in the September quarter, according to a company filing. The company’s total income decreased marginally to 7,345.96 crore over 7,373.49 crore in last year’s quarter. Costs fell 6,450.38 crore of 7,100.66 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

RInfra is engaged in providing engineering and construction (E&C) services for energy, road, metro, rail and other infrastructure sectors. The company is also engaged in deploying, operating and maintaining various projects in the defense sector and infrastructure areas through its specialty vehicles.
