The stock markets have been swinging wild since the US President Donald Trump on 2 April started a rate war after his speech ‘Liberation Day’.

On Monday the stock market index, the Sesex and the Nifty 50, with 3 percent with all shares – except Hul and Zomato – decreased in red. The stock prices have recovered some losses today. However, the recent correction has left investors nervous and confusing.

In this scenario, investors are recommended for investing in shares available for attractive valuations. The same rule – when applied to investment funds – make funds that are attractive to buy.

What are value funds?

For those who do not know, value -investment funds refer to schemes for investment funds that identify shares currently undervalued, but are expected to perform well over time because the value has been unlocked.

According to data from 28 February 2025, there are 23 value -investment funds with total capital management (AUM) of £1.71 Cross.

Since most power investors recommend that retail investors should continue to invest for the long term, we state the value funds that have achieved good returns in the last five years.

As you can see in the table below, there are three value -investment funds that have delivered more than 30 percent annual returns.

Other schedules that have achieved a high return are Aditya Birla Sun Life (Absl) Pure Value Fund, HSBC Value Fund and JM Value Fund.

When we consider the AUMs, the largest value funds icici are prudential value discovery fund ( £46,688 Crore), HSBC Value Fund ( £11,8993 Crore) and Bandhan Sterling Fund ( £8,914 Crore).

In the meantime, it is important to note that performance from the past does not guarantee future returns. The fact that a schedule has performed well in the past does not mean that it will continue to perform at the same pace in the future.
