The government On Monday (April 7, 2025) has excise duty on gasoline and diesel each with £ 2 per liter, according to an official order.

The excise duty on gasoline was raised to £ 13 per liter and that on diesel to £ 10, the order said.

The order further said that the selling prices will remain unchanged.

The increased excise duty will probably be adjusted to the reduction of gasoline and diesel prices that was justified due to a decrease in international oil prices.
