NSE and BSE will remain open for trading on Saturday, February 1, due to the Union Budget 2025

National Stock Exchange of India, or the NSE, and the BSE on Monday, December 25, announced that they will hold a live trading session on Saturday, February 1, 2025 for the presentation of the Union Budget 2025. Both exchanges will remain open for normal trading as usual from 9:15 am to 3:30 pm.

The commodity derivatives segment will also remain open for trading during the morning session on February 1.

The stock exchanges in India are generally closed for trading on all Saturdays and Sundays. However, in case of a special event, they hold special trading sessions on these days.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget 2025 on February 1. This will be the second budget of the third term of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government.
